The Mind

My Unforgettable Moment

Hi guys, how have you been?
Do you have an experience or an unforgettable moment for you? Either a pleasant or sad experience?
Of course everyone has an experience that makes them unable to forget it, and certainly it is because it had such a big impact on them that made them unable to forget that experience. Well, so do I. So, in this post I will tell y'all about my unforgettable experience.
Actually there are a lot of unforgettable experiences that I have been through, but there's no way I can tell them all one by one, cause it would take a lot of time, right? hehhehe😅😅😅
So, one of the unforgettable experiences for me is when I was in high school. Me and my friends went to a place that was a bit far from where we lived, we went there to do assignments that was given by our teacher. But instead of doing the assignment, we end up go there just to having fun😅😅😅
There is many things that make me can't forget this experience. First, when we went to that place, we through many obstacles. Because not all of our friends were allowed by their parents to leave their homes for various reasons. So, that makes us have to try hard looking for the right reasons. We have to lie a little bit to my friends' parents  so our friend was allowed to go with us. 😅
The second, because we all didn't really understand the way to that place, we had to go round and round looking for people to ask about the road to our destination.
The third, this was the most stressful and funniest experience of my life. So we went to the place I've told you before by using a motorcycle, because the road situation is very bad, making it difficult for us to ride this motorbike. Because we don't pay too much attention to the holes in the road. Suddenly we fell from the motorbike, at first I was very scared because I was worried there was someone who get injury among us. Fortunately we were fine and the motorbike was fine too, but unfortunately an embarrassing thing happened to me. Apparently when we fell from the motorcycle, my pants were ripped and that makes me so embarrassed cause my friends we laughing at me. The thing that was initially tense ended up being a very funny thing for my friends and an embarrassing thing for me...wkwkkw
Short story, we arrived at our destination.
This place is a green and beautiful hill, initially we only intended to take pictures of this place as a result of our assignment. But because this place is too beautiful if only for a short visit, we decided to stay there longer while playing around. We look for fruits around the hill like durian and langsat and we also climb the hill. Although it was tiring but also very fun.
Since it was getting dark and cloudy, we finally decided to go home early so as not to get rain. We returned from that place not only with the results of our assignment, but also with many fruits that we picked earlier as souvenirs for the family at home, if only our parents scolded us .... wkwkkw
However, the nature was a different kind of thing. Just in the middle of our journey, the rain rained down on us, so we got wet.
Which made us clearly will be scolded by each of our parents at home. Hahaha
So, that's my experience that I can't forget. My memories with my classmates in high school. How about you? What are the memories that you cannot forget?

People and Places

People and Places

Hello everyone, today I will discuss about a place that I really want to visit. Actually there are many places that I really want to visit, and I hope I can visit them in the future. One of the places that I want to visit is South Korea. I want to visit this place because I like watching k-drama and love listening to k-pop music. This makes me have desire to visit South Korea. Before proceeding further, it is better if we know in advance about South Korea.
Republic of Korea is the official name of South Korea. The name of the South Korean flag is Taegeukgi (태극기) and South Korea's National Flower is Mugunghwa.
The capital of South Korea is Seoul, which is famous for the Han River. The Han River flows in the middle of Seoul which divides two cities between Gangbuk for the North and Gangnam for the South. The Han River has 30 bridges that connect between Gangbuk and Gangnam.
South Korea has four seasons consisting of spring, summer, autumn and winter. The language used in Korea is Korean.
Korea is famous not only for its music or drama, but also for its culture, special food, and many more. The language used in Korea is Korean. Korean writing is called Hangul. The traditional Korean house is called Hanok. Hanok usually consists of an inner part (anchae), a part for men (sarangchae), a study room (sarangbang), and a servant's room (haengrangbang). Korean traditional society chooses a place to live based on geomancy.
Hanbok is the everyday attire of Koreans for thousands of years before opening the country to the West. Western clothing has replaced hanbok almost everywhere, but even urban residents generally continue to wear it on special occasions such as important family gatherings, holidays, weddings, and funerals.
Korea is very famous for its special food, Kimchi. Kimchi is a food that is usually a low calorie vegetable with high fiber content (for example, onions, long beans, lettuce, etc.) cooked in such a way with herbs and spices to produce a unique and usually spicy taste.
Regarding Korean people, they also have habits that become their lifestyle. The following are Korean habits or lifestyle that we need to know.
1. When entering a Korean home, you must take off the shoes or sandals you are using. Doing something that is lacking is a sign of great disrespect. Because South Koreans are said to have an unusual or special relationship with their floors, which is where they sit and sleep. Dirty floors cannot be tolerated in Korean homes.
2. The country of South Korea has a drinking culture, and their national taste drink is soju, a drink similar to vodka. Certainly this soju is intoxicating and like all liquor in Korea that is always served with food.
3. Regarding religion that is adopted by South Korea, the majority are atheists, they do not have a religion. But Buddhists are quite large in this land of Ginseng. There are Catholics and Protestant Christians too for the majority.
4. In South Korea playing with mud has become a habit and tradition. Because the people of South Korea believe and believe that mud is good for skin. With this they made mud to hold a mud festival which is commonly called the Boryeong Mud festival.
There are many more Korean habits that really unique. I hope someday I can visit Korea, and can meet my favourite K-Pop idol namely BlackPink😅

Reflection

My reflection in last semester (Integrated English Skill 2)

Hi guys, how is it going? I hope you all doing good. So now I'm going to tell you about my reflection in last semester, namely Integrated English Skill 2 from my lecturer Mam Aci.
In the last semester, I learned a lot about things from learning Integrated English Skill 2. I gained a lot of things that added my insight, such as in English, the use of applications such as blogs, and many more.
In english, I can arrange sentences better than before. I mean good sentences that correspond to grammar when compared to the previous one. Although until now sometimes there are still mistakes😅 atleast I'm trying, right?
In the use of blogs, now I am more accustomed to using blogs than at the first time I used a blog. In the past I was still confused about how to operate blog and besides that I could add my vocabulary due to many things that I had to write as the contents of my blog. And also helps me get used to writing sentences in English, so that I can learn to use English that is more natural than before.
We also increase our bond with friends, because in the last semester we were assigned per group to make cooking videos. This makes us closer, because we have to do it together. Beside that, also because in the video we are required to use English, thus helping us to practice our pronunciation to sound good and more natural.
Yes, I have indeed learned many lessons from last semester. But that is still not enough, I still have to try more so that my English can improve better than before. So in this semester, I will try even more by practicing my vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation more efficiently so that my English skills can improve for the better. Okay, that's all. See you in the next post. Bye!
