Survival

Emergency Situations

Hello friends, meet again with me!!!๐Ÿ˜Well, today in this post I will share you all about emergency experience that I had experienced and how to deal with situations like that.
So, my parents work as entrepreneurs with businesses selling food. Since I was a child I used to help my parents preparing food for us to sell. That's why I was used to dealing with kitchen items such as stoves, LPGs, and so on.
When I was in elementary school it was still rare for people in my village to use a gas stove for cooking because of the many events on television that showed many houses burning due to the explosion of the gas cylinder. So, as a cooking tool we prefer to use kerosene stoves rather than gas stoves.
But over time, the existence of kerosene as kerosene stove fuel that we use was increasingly scarce and rarely found. the price is getting more and more expensive, which is not good for us food sellers. Because just for the cost of fuel alone has spent a lot of expenses, not to mention other materials. So, in order to avoid incidents where expenses are greater than income, we must find a way out of the problem so that our business keep moving.
And the solution is my parents chose to use a gas stove instead of kerosene stove, because LPG prices are much cheaper than kerosene. From then on we started using gas stoves for cooking.
At first it was very scary, because when I used the gas stove that came to my mind was scary news on television about a fire caused by exploding gas. But over time, because I was used to using gas stoves, the fear gradually faded and disappeared.
One day, when we were busy cooking, suddenly there was a rather nasty smell like the smell of fart meat or something, but the point was that the smell was very unpleasant.
At first I thought maybe my parents or siblings farted๐Ÿ˜…, so I ignored it and focused on doing my work. But the smell does not go away and suddenly there was a hissing sound came out from LPG cylinders.
Coincidentally at that time my father was not at home, so only me and my mother were there at the time. Even though none of us knows how to fix the hissing sound of the leaking tube. So we were very  scared and worried, confused what we had to do. And suddenly the hissing sound louder. Afraid that the gas would be explode. I did not think for a long time, I immediately put out the fire on the stove and pull the regulator from the gas cylinder. Even though I was very scared I ventured to do that because I thought it would be too long and late if I had to ask my father to fix it.
It was the emergency experience I have ever felt, fortunately I immediately acted  because if only I late for a second there would be a possibility the gas could explode.

I dare to do that because before I had read how to overcome when the gas cylinder leaked. So for those of you who  don't know at all how to deal with a leaky gas cylinder, never take action on your own because it could endanger yourself, seek help from others who understand better cause it will be far better and safer.
