Recomendations For Improving Transportation

Hello guys!!! Well, it seems that we meet again. So, how have you been guys? I hope all of you always stay healthy and happy. So, guys, in this post I'm going to discuss about my suggestions or recommendations in improving the quality of transportation.
Before going to the recommendations, let me tell you the meaning of transportation first. So, transportation is a transfer of goods and people from their origin to their destination. There are many types of transportation, namely:
1. Land transportation.
For example: cars, motorbikes, buses, bajaj, trains, etc.
2. Water transportation (river, lake, sea).
For example: ships, barges, boats, rafts.
3. Air transportation: airplanes.
All types of transportation above are transportation that is commonly used by humans to assist humans in carrying out their activities in order to save time and energy.
Because it would be too much if I give recommendations for every transportation, so here I will only give recommendations on bus transportation, especially Transjakarta. Because I am more familiar with this transportation and I know more such what the shortcomings are needed to  improve in this transportation.

So, Transjakarta is the first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) transportation system in Southeast and South Asia that has been operating since 2004 in Jakarta, Indonesia. TransJakarta is designed as a mass transportation mode supporting capital activities which is very dense. With the longest path in the world (251.2 km), and has 260 bus stops spread across 13 corridors. Transjakarta which initially operated from 05.00 a.m - 22.00 p.m, now operates 24 hours.
Actually the quality of Transjakarta for now is quite good. The facilities are also quite complete such as the presence of Air Conditioning (AC) that makes busway users feel cool even in hot weather, there are bins available to keep the busway clean, and CCTV that can increase security when using the busway. These facilities are very useful in establishing the comfortable feeling for busway users. Besides that, the tariff for using Transjakarta is also very economical so that every citizen can use this transportation.

But even so, there are still some things that I want to recommend to be improved in Transjakarta transportation. Such as:
1. Providing gate as road block on each busway lane so that other vehicles do not pass through the busway lane. Because although Transjakarta facilities are sufficient to make users feel comfortable, but if Transjakarta is still trapped in traffic, it will have a bad impact on users because they cannot reach their destination on time. Whereas Transjakarta already has its own lane, but also the busway lane can still be passed by other vehicles, which is the reason why the busway also experience traffic jams.

2. Reinforce the rules so that passengers do not stand in front of the door for the safety of the passengers. Just like my experience yesterday, due to the negligence of the busway officer which did not limit the number of passengers entering the busway so that the passengers were jostling on the busway and when the door was closed one of the passengers was pinned. This is something that needs to be considered for the safety of the passengers.

I think that's all for now, see you guys in upcoming posts. Byeeee
